Tilly fry is an easy side dish served with roti, chapati, biryani or rice. To prepare mutton tilly fry, just pressure cook all the ingredients and fry in the pan.  Mutton tilly fry or goat spleen fry is a healthy dish that can occasionally make in very less time.

To prepare tilly fry(goat spleen fry) add tilly, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, ginger, garlic and dry coconut paste, masala powders, oil and water in the pressure cooker mix well. pressure cook all the ingredients for 3 whistles. Heat a pan add oil and fry the tilly mixture dry completely for an excellent taste and serve.

Ingredients
Ingredients for tilly fry:
  • mutton tilly(goat spleen) - 100g
  • diced onions - 1
  • diced tomatoes - 1
  • chopped coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
  • ginger and garlic paste - 1 spoon
  • dry coconut paste - 3 spoons
  • turmeric powder -1/4 spoon
  • red chilli powder - 1 spoon
  • salt - 1 spoon
  • garam masala powder - 1/2 spoon
  • oil - 1/4 cup
  • water - 3/4 glass
Instructions
Procedure for mutton tilly fry:
Pressure cooking tilly:
  1. Take the pressure cooker to add all the ingredients one by one. 

  2. Wash the mutton tilly pieces thoroughly and add to the pressure cooker.

  3. Add diced onions, tomatoes and coriander leaves.

  4. Add ginger and garlic paste, dry coconut paste.

  5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and garam masala powder.

  6. Add 2 spoons of oil and mix well.

  7. Pour 3/4 glass of water mix well all the ingredients.

  8. Close the lid and cook for 3 whistles.

  9. Carefully open the lid and dry the tilly mixture.

Frying tilly(spleen):
  1. Heat a pan over a medium flame add oil.

  2. Add tilly mixture stir occasionally.

  3. Fry for 2 minutes stir continuously and dry completely for excellent taste.

  4. Take the delicious tilly fry into the serving plate.

  5. Serve tilly fry as a side dish with chapati, roti, biryani or white rice.

Step-by-step procedure for mutton tilly fry:

Pressure cooking tilly:

Take the pressure cooker to add all the ingredients one by one. Wash the mutton tilly pieces thoroughly and add to the pressure cooker.

Add diced onions, tomatoes and coriander leaves.

Add ginger and garlic paste, dry coconut paste and turmeric powder.

Add red chilli powder, salt and garam masala powder.

Add 2 spoons of oil.

Mix well all the ingredients.

Pour 3/4 glass of water.

Mix well all the ingredients.

Close the lid and cook for 3 whistles.

Carefully open the lid and evaporate the tilly mixture.

Frying tilly(spleen):

Heat a pan over a medium flame and add oil.

Add tilly masala mixture and stir occasionally.

Fry until it thickness for 2 minutes. Stir continuously and dry completely for excellent taste.

Take the delicious tilly fry into the serving plate. Serve tilly fry as a side dish with roti, chapati, biryani or white rice.
