Roti is most popular recipe all over the world. It is made from wheat flour by making dough with less oil, frying in tava or roti stand. The step by step procedure with video recipe. The warm Indian soft bread better goes with palak paneer, cucumber dal or veg or non veg gravies.

To prepare this phulka in simple steps make the dough, roll and fry on tava or roti stand. A healthy breakfast/lunch/dinner complete dietary dish that fulfills the stomach. Try  chapati or rumali roti with

  3. Gongura masala curry(bhaji recipe)

Ingredients for roti:
  • wheat flour(aata) – 1 1/2 cup
  • salt – 1/4 spoon
  • water – 1/4 glass(as required)
  • oil – 1/4 spoon

procedure for making roti:
How to make soft dough:
  1. Take a bowl add 1 1/2 cup of wheat flour .

  2. Add 1/4 spoon of salt mix.

  3. Gradually pour water and make a soft dough.

  4. Add 1/4 spoon of oil and knead the dough.

  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.

  6. Can rest if you have time. I have no time, its my iftar . So i have prepared immedietely.

  7. Dust the flour in a rolling board.

  8. Take one portion of dough and again dust the flour.

  9. Know begin to roll the roti.

How to fry roti in a roti stand:
  1. Place the on tawa over a low-medium flame.

  2. Fry for few seconds when slight air bubbles appear flip and fry on other side.

  3. Immediately place roti directly on the flame or on the roti stand

  4. once the roti is placed on the flame, it begins to puff up

  5. Immediately take into the serving plate.

  6. In the same way fry rest of the roti’s.

  7.  Serve with veg or non veg gravies.

How to make soft dough:

Immediately take into the serving plate. In the same way fry rest of the roti’s. Serve with veg or non veg gravies.
