Ginger tea is a calorie-free drink which contains numerous health benefits. It is one of the home remedy relieves from common cold, sore throat, cough, indigestion, motion sickness and many more. Just boil crushed ginger pieces with black pepper powder and jaggery. The step by step procedure with full video recipe.

To prepare ginger drink in simple steps. Peel and wash fresh ginger. Cut into small pieces. Boil 2 glasses of water along with crushed ginger pieces, 3 pinches of black pepper and a spoon of jaggery. Boil for 5-10 minutes and serve. Can also add a spoon of sugar or honey or jaggery whichever is available. Always add honey at the end of the recipe at serving time.

Ginger tea is one of the home remedy relieves from common cold, sore throat, cough, indigestion, motion sickness and many more. Just boil crushed ginger pieces with black pepper powder and jaggery.

Ingredients for ginger tea:
  • fresh ginger pieces(allam) – 1 spoon
  • black pepper powder(miriyalu) – 3 pinches
  • jaggery(bellam) – 1 spoon
  • water – 2 glasses
Instructions
Procedure for ginger tea:
  1. Take the fresh ginger. Peel, wash and cut into small pieces.

  2. Slightly crush the ginger pieces.

  3. Heat a pan pour 2 glass of water.

  4. Add a spoon of crushed ginger pieces.

  5. Add 3 pinches of black pepper powder.

  6. Add a spoon of jaggery can reduce as for the taste.

  7. Can also add a spoon of sugar or honey or jaggery as available.

  8. Mix well all of them.

  9. Boil for at least 5-10 minutes.

  10. Switch off the fire take into the serving glass or cup.

  11. Serve ginger drink at morning or evening.

  12. Consume 2 cups of ginger pepper drink in a day.

  13. If more than 2 cups take the suggestion of prescribed practitioner.

Take the fresh ginger. Peel, wash.
