Choba semiya is a quick breakfast recipe in 10 minutes. The combination of ghee, fried nuts, raisins, grated coconut, poppy seeds and little sugar with cooked semiya is a tasty and healthy breakfast recipe especially at the time of Eid or at any time of busy schedule.
Choba semiya is very easy to prepare simply cook semiya in boiled water, drain the water, apply ghee on serving plate and place cooked semiya, sprinkle choba and sugar, serve and enjoy the delicious hot choba semiya.

Choba semiya recipe card:
- ghee – 1 spoon
- finely chopped cashew nuts – 9
- finely chopped almonds – 9
- finely chopped dry dates – 3
- raisins draksha – 17
- grated dry coconut – 2 spoons
- poppy seeds khus khus – 1/4 spoon(gasagasalu)
- semiya – 1 cup
- water – 2 1/2 glass
- ghee – 1 spoon
- sugar – 4 spoons
- choba mixture – 1 cup

Heat a pan over medium flame add ghee.

Add finely chopped cashew nuts, almonds, dry dates and raisins.

Fry until they turn to golden brown.

Add grated coconut and poppy seeds give a mix.

Switch off the flame. take the choba into a bowl set aside.

Pour 2 1/2 glass of water in the same pan.

Add semiya into the boiled water mix well.

Cook for 2 minutes till the semiya become soft.

Carefully check the semiya consistency it should be dry.

Drain the water in semiya with the help of stainless steel strainer.

Take a serving plate apply ghee on it.

Place cooked semiya into the plate.

Sprinkle 3 spoons of choba mixture and sugar.

Serve hot choba semiya as a breakfast or at any time.
Carefully cook semiya for less time. It should be dry.
By cooking for more time our semiya will become wet which totally changes the taste of the recipe.
Procedure for choba semiya:
Preparing choba:

Switch off the flame. Take the choba into a bowl and set aside.
Cooking semiya:
Pour 2 1/2 glass of water in the same pan.
Add semiya into the boiled water.
Mix well and cook for 2 minutes till the semiya become soft.
Carefully check the semiya consistency it should be dry.By cooking for more time our semiya will become wet which totally changes the taste of the recipe.
Drain the water in semiya with the help of stainless steel strainer.
For dressing:
Take a serving plate apply ghee on it.
Place cooked semiya into the plate.
Take the Semiya in the plate coated with ghee. Do not place the semiya without ghee. It will stick to the plate.
Sprinkle 3 spoons of choba mixture. Adjust the choba as for the taste.
Sprinkle 3 spoons of sugar. Adjust the sugar as for the taste.
Serve hot choba semiya as a breakfast or at any time.
