The delicious sweet potato cutlet is easy to prepare just combine boiled and mashed sweet potato and all the ingredients mix well, shape as cutlet and finally, fry the cutlets. Serve the yummy sweet potato recipe with tomato ketchup.
- Boiled and mashed sweet potato -1 cup
- Gram flour (besan) – 2 spoons
- Rice flour – 3 spoons
- Chopped green chilli – 1
- Onions – 1cup
- Oil – for shallow fry (4-6 spoons)
- Salt – as required(2 spoons)
- Garam masala powder – 1 spoon
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 spoon
- Red chilli powder – 1 spoon

Take a bowl to add boiled, peeled and mashed sweet potato.

Make sure the mashed potato does not contain water.

Add onions, coriander leaves, rice flour and chopped green chilli.

Add salt, red chilli powder, besan (gram flour) and garam masala powder.

Mix well all the ingredients to form a dough.

Take a lemon sized sweet potato dough.

Make a smooth ball cutlet of medium thickness.

Make sure that there are no cracks

Repeat the same process for the rest of the dough.

Heat oil in a shallow pan, Add oil for each batch of cutlet.

Always fry the cutlets in low to medium heat.
