- ghee – 1 spoon
- cashew nuts – 1/2 cup
- raisins – 1/4 cup
- coconut pieces – 1/4 cup
- halved almonds – 6
- chopped dry dates – 3
- semiya – 1 cup
- sabudana – 3/4 cup
- sugar – 1cup
- milk – 1 1/2 glass
- water – 4 glass

Heat a pan over medium flame add a spoon of ghee.

Add cashew nuts, raisins, almonds, coconut pieces and dry dates.

Fry until they turn to golden colour and set aside.

In the same pan fry semiya till it turn to golden and set aside.

Pour water let it boil. Add sabudana mix well. Cook until it become soft.

Add fried semiya stir well. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add cardamon stir well. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add a cup of sugar stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.

Pour 1 1/2 glass of milk mix well.

Add fried dry fruits and stir well.

Switch off the fire. Take into a bowl.

Step by step procedure for semiya kheer:
Frying semiya:
