- black pepper(kali mirch) – 2 spoons
- cumin seeds(jeera) – 1 spoon
- coriander seeds(dhaniya) – 1 spoon
- cinnamon sticks(dalchene) – 2
- cloves(laung) – 7
- cardamom(elachi) – 3
- red chill(lal mirch) – 26 (a handful)
- Boneless chicken – 1/4 kg(skinless)
- ginger and garlic paste – 3/4 spoon
- turmeric powder – 1/4 spoon
- red chili powder – 1/2 spoon
- prepared masala powder – 1 1/2 spoon
- oil – 1/2 spoon
- yogurt – 1 spoon
- salt – 1 1/2 spoon
- raw egg – 1
- Plain flour(maida) – 3/4 cup
- cornflour – 1/4 cup
- prepared masala powder – 1 spoon
- red chilli powder – 3/4 spoon
- salt – 1/2 spoon
- bread crumbs – 1 cup
- oil – 1/2 cup

Dry roast black pepper, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and red chill over a medium flame.

Roast for 2 minutes stir continuously do not burn them.

Switch off the fire. Let it cool completely.

Take all the roasted ingredients into the blender jar. Blend to a fine powder. Set aside.

The fresh masala gives the spicy and tasty chicken popcorn.

Take a bowl add boneless and skinless chicken pieces.

Add 3/4 spoon of ginger and garlic paste.

Add 1/4 spoon of turmeric powder and 1 1/2 spoon of prepared masala powder.

Add 1/2 spoon of oil and a spoon of yogurt mix well.

Add 1/2 spoon of red chilli powder for spicy chicken popcorn. Can skip for kids.

Beat one raw egg into the chicken mixture.

Add 1 1/2 spoon of salt mix well all of them.

Close and marinate for 10 minutes. If you have time can refrigerate for 30 minutes or more time.

Take a bowl add 3/4 cup of plain flour and 1/4 cup of cornflour.

Add 1 spoon of prepared masala powder and 3/4 spoon of red chilli

Add 1/2 spoon of salt mix well.

Add a cup of bread crumbs mix well all of them.

Place the marinated chicken and mixed flour bread crumbs side by side.

Take the chicken pieces one by one place into the mixed flour bread crumbs.

Coat well chicken pieces, take into the steel strainer and remove the excess flour.

In the same way coat well all the chicken pieces and remove the excess flour.

For double coating pour little water into the egg masala mix well.

For spicy popcorn chicken add 1/2 spoon of red chilli powder(this is optional) mix well.

If you like can add on more egg for double coating instead of water. Add little salt and chilli in egg for nice taste(this is also optional).

Know dip the coated chicken pieces into the water and coat with mixed flour bread crumbs.

Take into the strainer and remove excess flour. Set aside.

Heat a pan over a medium flame add 1/2 cup of oil.

When the oil gets heated check by placing a chicken bite.

Place the chicken pieces one by one into the pan.
-
Do not crowd the chicken pieces at a time. Fry in batches.

Place the distance between each of them to fry evenly.

Do not disturb immediately stir after 1 or 2 minutes for avoid sticking chicken and spreading crumb

Fry on both sides till it turns light golden brown.

Take into the tissue to remove excess oil.

Serve hot popcorn chicken with ketchup or garlic sauce.
Step by step procedure for popcorn chicken recipe:
preparing popcorn chicken masala:

Coating marinated chicken with flour and bread crumbs:
Place the marinated chicken and mixed flour bread crumbs side by side. Take the chicken pieces one by one place into the mixed flour bread crumbs.
Coat well chicken pieces.
Take into the steel strainer and remove the excess flour.
In the same way coat well all the chicken pieces and remove the excess flour.
Double coating chicken pieces(this is optional):
For double coating pour little water into the egg masala mix well. For spicy popcorn chicken add 1/2 spoon of red chilli powder(this is optional) mix well.
If you like can add on more egg for double coating instead of water. Add little salt and chilli in egg for nice taste(this is also optional). Know dip the coated chicken pieces into the water.
Coat with mixed flour bread crumbs.
Take into the strainer and remove excess flour. Set aside.
How to make popcorn chicken:
