Tiranga KesariĀ is a festive and flavorful semolina pudding, prepared with ghee, sugar, and an aromatic blend of cardamom. This Independence Day, go beyond the traditional sweets and prepare a Tiranga Kesari to delight your family and guests.
Add 2 tablespoons of ghee add 1/4 cup of cashew nuts.
Fry until it turns golden brown and set aside.
Add a cup of semolina(suji), stir and fry over a low flame.
Fry until it turns light golden. Take into a plate and set aside.
Boil 1 1/2 cups of water, add 3 crushed cardamom.
Gradually add roasted rava and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
When rava thickens add 1/2 cup of sugar.
Stir well until the sugar dissolves, and make sure there are no lumps.
Switch off the fire and divide the kesari into 3 equal portions.
Mix the saffron colour and green colour in two portions of kesari.
Take a round cylinder-shaped bowl.
Add saffron kesari and slighty press it. Add white kesari and press it. Finally, add green kesaeri slightly press it.
Let it cool transfer into a serving plate.
Garnish with fried cashew nuts and enjoy this tricolour semolina sweet.
