  • sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • water - 1 1/2 cup
  • oil - 3 spoons

How to prepare Liquid batter:

  1. Take a bowl, add 1 cup of wheat flour, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, mix it once.

  2. Gradually pour 1 1/2 cup of water.

  3. Make a smooth batter without lumps.

  4. Add a spoon of oil, mix well.

  5. Check the consistency of batter, it should be like Dosa batter.

  6. Liquid batter is ready.

How to fry Liquid batter roti:

  1. Heat a Pan over a medium flame.

  2. Pour a ladle full of batter.

  3. Wait for a minute, let it dry.

  4. Flip roti on other side and fry for a minute.

  5. Press the edges of roti with a clean cloth.

  6. Cook till roti Puffs up.

  7. Fry on both sides until the brown spots appear.

  8. Spread a spoon of oil on both sides, fry for a minute.

  9. Take into a serving plate.

  10. For this batter, we can make 3 rotis.

  11. Serve with any veg or non-veg gravies

  1. Carefully pour little by little water to make a smooth batter.
  2. Make sure the batter has no lumps.
  3. Do not make the Batter too runny, if it is so, then add some wheat flour, consistency should be like Dosa batter
  4. After pouring batter on the Pan, Wait for a minute, let it dry, and then flip on another side, Else, it will split and can not form roti
  5. Spread Oil when the roti puffs up.
  6. When the brown spots appear on the roti, then only sprinkle oil, otherwise, the roti will not cook properly.
