Ingredients

Ingredients for fireless cooking recipe:

For coconut mixture:

  • Milk powder - 1 cup + 1 tablespoon
  • Desiccated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar powder - 1/4 cup
  • Cream - 1/4 cup

For dates mixture:

  • Cashew nuts - 1/2 cup
  • Almonds - 1/2 cup
  • Dates Syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Milk powder - 1/4 cup
  • Cream - 2 tablespoons
  • Seedless dates - 6

For roll and garnish:

  • Ghee - 1 tablespoon
  • Dates syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Almonds - 4

Instructions

Procedure for fireless cooking:

Coconut mixture:

  1. Add a cup of milk powder, 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut, 1/4 cup of sugar powder, 1/4 cup of cream mix well.

  2. If the mixture is little bit sticky add a table spoon of milk powder.

  3. Mix well until the mixture holds its shape when pressed together.

  4. Refrigerate the coconut mixture for at least 5 minutes or more.

Dates mixture:

  1. In a blender add 1/2 cup of cashew nuts and 1/2 cup of almonds blend.

  2. Add a tablespoon of dates syrup this is optional.

  3. Add 1/4 cup of milk powder, 2 tablespoons of cream and 6 dates blend until they form a paste.
  4. Take the dates mixture into a bowl. Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes.

Shaping:

  1. Spread a table spoon of ghee to your hands.
  2. Roll the coconut mixture and dates mixture into a balls separately.

  3. Spread the coconut laddu into small disc.

  4. Place the dates laddu at the middle seal and shape as a round laddu.

  5. Similarly make rest of the laddu.

  6. Take into a serving plate.
  7. Decorate with dates syrup or chocolate syrup.
  8. Top with almonds and enjoy.

  9. Serve immediately or refrigerate and serve later.

Recipe Notes

  • If the coconut mixture is a little bit sticky add a tablespoon of milk powder.
  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference. You can add sweeteners like chocolate syrup or honey.
  • Spread a tablespoon of ghee on your hands to avoid sticking.
  • These coconut dates delight will keep well in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Refrigerate your coconut date delights for at least 2 hours before serving for a perfectly set and refreshing treat.
