Ingredients for tomato sauce

  • fresh tomatoes – 9
  • red chilli powder – 1 spoon
  • sugar – 1/2 cup
  • vinegar – 3 spoons
  • water – 1 glass


Procedure for tomato sauce

Cooking tomatoes

  1. Take the fresh red tomatoes. Chop them into small pieces.
  2. Add the chopped tomatoes into the pressure cooker.
  3. Pour a glass of water. Let it cook for 2 whistles.


  1. Cool the tomatoes and transfer to the blender jar.
  2. Blend the tomatoes to smooth puree.
  3. Filter the puree by pressing with a spoon to separate skin and seeds of tomatoes.

Preparing tomato sauce

  1. Transfer into a pan adds sugar, salt, red chilli powder and vinegar.
  2. Close the lid and boil all the ingredients.
  3. Stir continuously until it turns thick.
  4. Drop sauce into a plate and check the consistency.
  5. Switch off the fire. Take into an airtight container refrigerate and store.
