Ingredients for shahi chicken recipe

Skinless chicken – 1/2 kg

ginger & garlic paste – 3 spoons

coconut paste – 1/2 cup

chopped onions – 2

chopped tomatoes – 2

chopped green chillies – 2
-
chopped coriander leaves – 1 cup
-
water – 1 glass
-
salt – 2 spoons
-
oil – 1/4 cup
Spice powders

red chilli powder – 1 spoon
-
turmeric powder – 1/4 spoon

garam masala powder – 1 spoon
-
chicken masala powder – 1 spoon
Dry spices

cardamon – 3
-
cinnamon – 2
-
cloves
– 6
Procedure for shahi chicken recipe
Frying spices

Heat a pan add oil, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, chopped onions and green chillies fry for a minute.

Add ginger and garlic paste, coconut paste mix well. Fry until the raw smell disappears.

Add salt, turmeric, red chilli, garam masala and chicken masala powders mix well. Fry for a minute.

Add chopped coriander leaves and tomatoes. cook until the tomatoes become mushy.
Cooking chicken

Add chicken pieces mix well. Fry until the chicken absorbs all the spices.

Pour a glass of water. Cook for 5 minutes till the chicken become soft.

Shahi chicken recipe is ready. Take into a bowl.
Garnishing

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve as a side dish for biryani or main dish. Can also serve with chapati, pulka or naan.
