Ingredients

Ingredients for chicken pasta:

For chicken:

  • Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Chopped onions -1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped green chillies - 2
  • Boneless chicken - 100 g
  • Black pepper powder(kaalee mirch) - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder(laal mirch) - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder(jeera) - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder(dhaniya) - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric(haldi) - 1 pinch
  • Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato paste - 1 cup
  • lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon

For pasta:

  • Water - 2 1/2 cups
  • Oil - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • pasta - 50 g(3/4 cup)

Stir chicken and pasta:

  • red chilli flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon

For cheesy chicken pasta:

  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1 cup
  • Grated cheese - 40 g
  • Red chilli flakes - 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

Procedure for chicken pasta recipe:

Cooking chicken along with sauce:

  1. Heat a pan over a medium flame and add 3 tablespoons of oil.

  2. Add 1/2 cup of chopped onions, 2 green chillies and 100 g of boneless chicken.

  3. Stir and fry for a minute.

  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder.

  5. Also add 1/4 teaspoon of garam masala, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder and 1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder.

  6. Add a pinch of turmeric and 1 tablespoon of ginger and garlic paste.

  7. Fry until the raw smell disappears.

  8. Add 1/2 cup of tomato paste and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice.

  9. Stir and cook until the chicken becomes soft. Meanwhile…

Boiling Pasta:

  1. Heat another pan and pour 2 1/2 cups of water.

  2. Bring water to a boil.

  3. Add 1/2 teaspoon of oil and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper powder.

  4. Add 50 g(3/4 cup) of pasta and mix well.

  5. Boil for 5 minutes.

  6. Press the pasta if it breaks then switch off the fire.

  7. Filter the pasta immediately. Otherwise, it will become mushy.

Stir chicken and pasta:

  1. If the chicken becomes dry then add boiled pasta.

  2. Add 1/4 teaspoon of red chilli flakes.

  3. Stir well the chicken and pasta.

  4. Finally, add 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and mix well.

  5. Take it into a serving plate.

  6. You can serve at this stage also.

  7. For making creamy chicken cheese pasta follow the next steps.

Cheesy Chicken Pasta:

  1. Take the chicken pasta into a serving plate.

  2. Sprinkle a cup of chopped coriander leaves.

  3. Sprinkle 40 g of grated cheese.

  4. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of red chilli flakes and chopped cilantro.

  5. Cover for 2 minutes until the cheese melts.

  6. The cheese will melts if the pasta is hot. So make sure the chicken pasta is hot.

  7. Serve creamy and cheesy chicken pasta and enjoy the dish.

Recipe Notes

  • Add tomato paste and make sure there are no seeds.
  • There is no need to make the sauce separately for this dish.
  • Just add tomato paste and lemon juice.
  • Stir and cook until the chicken becomes soft.
  • Mix oil while boiling pasta to prevent sticking.
  • Press the pasta if it breaks then switch off the fire.
  • Filter the pasta immediately. Otherwise, it will become mushy.
  • To prevent sticking rub the oil on boiled pasta.
  • The cheese will melts if the pasta is hot. So make sure the chicken pasta is hot.
  • Can also bake the pasta for a minute until the cheese melts.
